Solutions

NodeSmith brings AI, sensors, and automation directly to the equipment you already use. Monitor environments, digitize legacy instruments, detect important events, and automatically respond to changing conditions, all from a compact edge device designed to turn real-world data into actionable information.

Turn Analog Gauges into Digital Readings

Bridge the gap between old Physical gauges and Modern Automations

Many industrial facilities still rely on analog gauges that require someone to physically inspect and record their readings. NodeSmith brings these existing gauges into a modern monitoring system without requiring the equipment itself to be replaced.

Using a camera and local AI, a NodeSmith device can read the position of an analog gauge and convert it into usable digital data. Readings can then be viewed remotely, tracked over time, and used to trigger alerts when a value moves outside of a defined range. This makes it possible to add digital monitoring to legacy equipment while keeping the instrumentation you already have.

Take A Picture when Motion or Loud Noise is detected

Use any sensor parameters to trigger automations, and detect system failures sooner

A sensor reading can tell you that something happened. A picture can help tell you why. NodeSmith can use events such as detected motion, presence, or unusually loud noise to automatically trigger an image capture. Instead of continuously recording video, the system can capture visual context around the events that actually matter.

In an industrial environment, this could mean taking a picture when unexpected movement is detected near equipment, when a loud impact occurs, or when another connected sensor crosses a threshold. Operators can quickly see what was happening at the time of an event and investigate potential problems sooner.

Get Live Readings from hard to reach places

With the live dashboard, get live sensor readings anytime and monitor for abnormalities

Important equipment isn't always located somewhere that's convenient to check. Sensors may be installed above production lines, inside equipment rooms, across large facilities, or in locations that require an employee to stop what they're doing just to take a reading.

NodeSmith turns those physical measurements into live information that can be viewed from a central dashboard. Temperature, humidity, motion, sound, and other connected sensor data can be checked remotely without repeatedly walking to the equipment.

Instead of discovering a problem during the next scheduled inspection, thresholds can be used to identify abnormal conditions as they happen. This gives operators better visibility into equipment and environments that would otherwise be difficult to continuously monitor.

Triggers and Actions for every situation

Connect any input to any output

NodeSmith isn't limited to one sensor or one type of automation. Sensor inputs can be connected to actions, allowing the system to react automatically when specific conditions occur.

A temperature reading could trigger an alert when equipment becomes too hot. A presence sensor could trigger a camera. A loud noise could create an event and capture an image. Multiple conditions could even be combined to create more specific automations for a particular machine or environment.

This turns individual sensors into a flexible edge-automation system. Instead of simply collecting data, NodeSmith can use that data to recognize important events and take action when they happen.
